W el c o m e b a c k! T h e s u m m er h ol id a ys h a v e g o n e q ui ckly and we’re back to Cubs again. We have a busy time this term. It’s been hard to fit it all in.

Dates. Please note that this term a number of the Pack events are on different days of the week. These are highlighted in BOLD Locations. If it isn’t specified, the drop off pickup location is the Scout Hut at PGL.

Remembrance Sunday.  ALL Cubs should attend, smartly turned out, possibly missing football etc….but, hey-ho, there are very few formal things that we ask Cubs to do these days.

Subs. We continue to try and work on £2.50 per meeting. Subs this term are £30.00, payable by cheque to Boreatton Scout Group. Please pay ASAP. We must insist upon cheque please, as we have difficulty recording cash properly against names in the organised chaos of a Friday night. Also, there are some subs still owing from last term. Sue has prepared reminders, which we’ll distribute. Please don’t be offended if you get one.

Fundraising. Please remember that in excess of 30% of subs go straight to the Scout Association, so we have to raise additional funds equipment and camp. The details are being finalised, but it’s important all Cubs and parents support this event (Cubs for elbow grease and parents for money). Please this on to any friends, family & neighbours. Hopefully we’ll be able to do well.

Parent Helpers. Thank you again to those parents who showed their support last term. It is greatly appreciated. As a minimum requirement, we have to have the parent helper listed, so please ensure you turn up on your specified evening. You’re welcome to swap/delegate to other parents, but please arrange your own ‘stand in’; we have enough to do. Thanks in advance to those parents that have offered us additional support this term.

Attendance. Please let us know if your Cub cannot attend on a given night. We have a lot of youngsters we can’t admit because of numbers, so we firmly encourage full attendance throughout the term.
